Albinos in Tanzania Are Being Hunted Down Like Animals by their Own Families
In Tanzania, albinos are believed to be the ghosts that brings
wealth, power and luck.
Albinism is a hereditary genetic condition which causes a
total absence of pigmentation in the skin, hair and eyes.
In Tanzania's albinos are being 'hunted down like animals' as
greed for money and influence drives families to turn on their own loved ones
in a trade allegedly fuelled by some of the country's most powerful people.
It is believed albino body parts will bring a person wealth,
or luck - and for that, people are willing to pay as much as $3,000 or $4,000
for a limb, or as much as $75,000 - about £50,000 - for the 'full set', a whole
body.
People with albinism are regularly attacked by people who chop
their limbs off - an act which either leaves them severely mutilated, or
dead.
Since people began collecting records of the attacks, there
have been 74 killings and 59 survivors of attacks. Even the dead are not
safe: 16 graves have been robbed.
And these are only the recorded cases.
The most recent case saw four-year-old Pendo Emmanuelle
Nundi abducted from her home in December. Her father and uncle were both
arrested in connection with her disappearance, but - despite rewards offered of
£1,130 and promises of swift action from the police - she has not been found.
Charities working in the
area do not hold out much hope she will be returned safely, but - listening to
survivors' stories - it is likely her end is, or will be brutal.

In the early
hours on Saturday, Lillian, a sixteen-month-old toddler was dropped off at
Kids Stop-N-Play, 5339 Mile Stretch Drive by her father, Joseph Roan, 36. It
was the little girls’ third day in the day care.
Later
that day, Linda K. Klemm, 48-year-old daycare worker was arrested after being caught kicking a
child on a security camera. Linda, a mother-of-four from Tarpon Springs,
Florida, was charged with child abuse after being captured in the footage aggressively
kicking a 16-month-old girl who was sleeping on the floor in an attempt to wake her up.
The Sixteen-month-old,
Lillian Roan was dotted with bruises when her mother Crystal Faggione, 24,
picked her up from the day care Saturday afternoon. She was reported to have

A recording
shows the blond girl lying on her stomach, a blanket by her side, while several
children play nearby. Klemm approaches and kicks the girl on the top of her

Cervical Cancer
The Cervix
The cervix is part of a woman's reproductive system. It's in
the pelvis. The cervix is the lower, narrow part of the uterus (womb).
The cervix connects the uterus to the vagina. During a menstrual
period, blood flows from the uterus through the cervix into the vagina. The
vagina leads to the outside of the body.
The cervix makes mucus. During sex, mucus helps
sperm move from the vagina through the cervix into the uterus.
During pregnancy, the cervix is tightly

Have You Heard About SHWESHWE?
To so many
in Western and Northern Africa, shweshwe may sound strange and unrelated to
fabrics. Shweshwe is a printed dyed cotton fabric widely used for traditional
South African clothing. Originally dyed indigo, the fabric is manufactured in a
variety of colours and printing designs characterized by the intricate
geometric patterns. Due to its timeless popularity, shweshwe has been described
as the denim, or tartan, of South Africa.
Shweshwe Fabrics |
Shweswhe is
the only fabric proudly claimed as South African. Like colourful wax fabric in
West and Central Africa, shweshwe fabric’s history in South Africa has been weaved
in a circuit of cultural exchanges and interactions between three continents:
Asia-Europe-Africa.

Alien Hunters Spot a 'COFFIN' on Mars
A mysterious box-shaped rock 'Coffin' was found by Will Farrar on an image taken by Curiosity rover.
Mr Farrar claims the structure may be left over from an old civilization UFO hunters claim it is 3.2 ft (1 metre) across and 1.5ft (0.4 metres) wide. Conspiracy theorists suggest it is big enough to contain 'alien grays' But scientists said seeing such objects could be a case of pareidolia
It is a psychological response to seeing familiar objects in random places.
From fossilized iguanas to Obama's head, conspiracy theorists appear tohave found
all manner of things on Mars.
And now an
alien coffin can be added to the list, after one Maryland-based UFO hunter
spotted what he believes to be a 'decorative' box on the red planet.
The 'coffin'
was discovered by Will Farrar from WhatsUpintheSky37 as he trawled through a
library of pictures sent back by the Mars rover Curiosity.
The find
follows a similarly bizarre claim made in November, when a lady claiming to be
a former Nasa employee said she had seen humans on Mars.
The woman,
named 'Jackie', called into American radio station, Coast to Coast AM, with a
'confession' that she had witnessed suited men running on the red planet in
1979.
